Enforcement Center
HUD also created the Enforcement Center to take action against HUD-assisted entities that are responsible for waste, fraud and abuse of HUD programs. The center receives referrals from REAC of entities failing their financial or physical inspections. The Enforcement Center seeks remedies from the entities and works with the OIG on criminal investigations.
