Why I
chose DOZ:
I
chose DOZ for the friendly, laid back atmosphere, the flexible
work schedule, the opportunity to grow and advance my career,
and because it has the close-knit feel of a small firm with all
the advantages of a large firm.
What advice
would you have for Juniors/Seniors seeking fulltime and
internship opportunities this fall?
My advice for juniors and seniors is to take your time and
make sure you choose the firm that best fits your
personality and life style. Don’t take your first offer
just because you have to have a job, but wait until you’ve
explored all of your options and then choose the firm that
is the best fit for you.

Why I
chose DOZ:
I chose to work at DOZ
because of the work/life balance, advancement opportunities, and
the people. DOZ is committed to making sure each of its
employees is happy with their work/life balance through their
mentoring program. Also, due to the tremendous client growth the
firm is experiencing, they need well qualified, motivated staff
to move quickly through the ranks. Lastly, the people I work
with truly care about one another. At DOZ many people are not
only co-workers, but friends who hang out together.
What advice
would you have for Juniors/Seniors seeking fulltime and
internship opportunities this fall?
I would advise
college students to know what is important to them and
choose a firm that fits with their personality and
lifestyle. Do not chose a firm solely based on starting
salary or the firm’s name and then try to adapt your
personality and lifestyle to their model. If you find a firm
that fits your personality and lifestyle you will be
happier, more motivated and the success and/or money you are
looking for will come much easier.

Why I
chose DOZ:
DOZ has a great work
environment. From the friendly, casual interaction of the staff
to the laid back atmosphere of the office. Also, knowing that I
would be working for a firm where I felt like I was part of its
development and not just another employee. There are so many
opportunities for advancement and gaining more responsibility.
Overall, I’m getting more valuable experience here than I would
any place else.
What advice
would you have for Juniors/Seniors seeking fulltime and
internship opportunities this fall?
The advice that
I would give would be to relax and stay calm about it. Just
be confident in who you are and what you want. Be yourself
and not who you think they want you to be. The place you
work should have your best interests in mind as well as
theirs. If it doesn’t feel “right” then its probably not.

Why I
chose DOZ:
DOZ appealed to
me because I felt I could be myself. The atmosphere is
welcoming and the people are helpful and intelligent. The firm
is very dedicated to work/life balance and is excellent at
helping maintain a flexible schedule so I can meet all of my
goals in life.
What advice
would you have for Juniors/Seniors seeking fulltime and
internship opportunities this fall?
My advice is to be yourself in all of your interviews. The
firms are generally looking for people to fit in long term,
not just over an internship period. Make sure the companies
you interview with have what you want in terms of a work
life. You need to get to know the real firm, and the firm
needs to get to know the real you. Ask lots of questions of
lots of people, especially when you go to visit a firm’s
office.

Why I chose DOZ:
I chose to work at DOZ for several reasons, including a youthful
and energetic work culture, a family oriented environment,
opportunities for advancement, increased levels of
responsibility, competitive salary, the size of the firm, and
for the social interactions among the employees and community.
What advice
would you have for Juniors/Seniors seeking fulltime and
internship opportunities this fall?
My advice for juniors/seniors would be to go into the recruiting
process with an open mind and to be patient. Don’t base your
decision solely on salary, the money will come. Be yourself and
try to learn as much as you can about the firms you’re talking
to. Don’t be scared to ask questions, recruiters won’t get to
know you if you don’t speak up. |
