Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)
Created under the Tax Reform Act of 1986, the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) is celebrating its 25th year of providing incentives for affordable housing development for low-income Americans. The LIHTC has proven to be one of the best incentives to produce quality long term affordable rental housing in the United States creating more than 1.6 million rental units. Combining public and private funding and oversight has been the key to the LIHTC success through the years.
Working with the LIHTC since its inception, the Members at DOZ use their 25 years of experience with the program to be key contributors in providing a wide range of services to developers and investors in the industry.
