Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sponsors a broad range of programs designed to revitalize urban neighborhoods, stimulate housing construction, encourage  home ownership opportunities, and provide safe and affordable housing for low and moderate income families.  DOZ provides annual audit services to approximately 975 for profit and not-for-profit entities that receive assistance from HUD.

DOZ has the experience with entities receiving all types of HUD assistance, including direct loans or grants under Section 202 and 811 of the National Housing Act, and mortgages insured by HUD pursuant to Sections 221(d)3, 221(d)4, 223(a)7, 223(f) and other various HUD programs and offer the services necessary to assist with today’s ever changing compliance issues.  Other HUD assistance includes Section 8 rental assistance for direct loan and insured properties, project rental assistance contracts for properties that receive Section 202 and 811 capital advances, mark-to-market restructurings, and interest credit agreements related to Section 236 mortgages before and after decoupling, if applicable.
