Preparing for an Aging Population


In April 2012, the Center for Housing Policy published a study that focused on the current and future housing needs for Americans age 65+. Within the next 40 years, the U.S. population of individuals 65 or older is expected to double and the population 85 or older is expected to triple. This trend, combined with the current government budget deficit woes, presents a potential problem. National Church Residences and GHC Housing Partners are trying to help provide a solution.
