For each of the past 10 years, DOZ has sponsored at least 3 families to provide food, clothes, and gifts through the United Way of Central Indiana.  The program, United Christmas Service, was established in 1952.  Caseworkers from more than 170 partner organizations refer qualified families to the United Christmas Service each year.  In 2010, more than 28,500 people received food, clothing and gifts.  In 2011, DOZ spread the Christmas spirit by sponsoring 3 single-parent families.  For more information on the United Christmas Service, click here!
