DOZ employees Whitney O’Brien and Lisa Stiglitz joined the 99.5 WZPL radio crew for the 15th Annual WZPL Make-A-Wish Request-A-Thon on November 17th. The event ran a total of 36 hours and collected donations from listeners all over Indiana in order to make more wishes come true.
Lisa and Whitney had a chance to talk on the air about DOZ’s involvement with Make-A-Wish and announced that DOZ plans to sponsor another child with this upcoming year!
Lisa commented about the event in saying: “Since I have been an Indianapolis resident I have listened to the Z99.5 The Make-A-Wish Request-A-Thon every year and have been touched by the generous donations of the community and companies around the area. This year I was honored to be selected with Whitney as a DOZ representative to meet Smiley, KJ and the rest of the WZPL crew and make my radio debut to announce that we would be sponsoring another child’s wish for 2012. For the past several years the employees at DOZ have graciously donated funds to allow our company to sponsor wishes which have included New York Shopping Sprees and Walt Disney World trips for wish children and their families. It is great to be part of a company that supports an organization as instrumental as Make-A-Wish.”
