Experience Highlights
Tim has been in various positions in public accounting over the past 20 years. Prior to joining Dauby O'Connor and Zaleski, LLC, Tim worked for Arthur Andersen in Indianapolis, IN for 18 years. At Arthur Andersen, Tim assisted in managing all aspects of the Indianapolis office consisting of 120 people. He also served as a senior in-charge auditor for privately and publicly held clients in various industries. He has taught numerous training classes locally and at the worldwide training resource center. Tim has co-managed the Indianapolis office recruiting process, which was #1 in the USA , #1 retention office in the USA , and #1 summer internship program in the USA .

In addition to being the director of recruiting, Tim's responsibilities include managing the "Home Office" as well as performing client Cost Certification and Arbitrage Rebate consulting work at DOZ .

Jeff Lathrop , CPA

Experience Highlights
Since joining Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski, LLC in June 2004, Jeff has been responsible for managing the execution of all phases of the audits of partnerships, limited liability companies and non-profit organizations that are owned by real estate developments. Those audits were prepared for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”), the Farmers Home Administration (“RD”), state agencies, and various debt and equity providers.  In addition, he also supervises and performs various agreed upon procedures, 10% carryovers and final cost certifications for Section 42 tax credits of several entities.

Jeff’s past experience was with the international public accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP in their audit practice in its Indianapolis office. At Ernst & Young, LLP, he primarily performed work on manufacturing and broadcasting clients.  Jeff was very involved in the timely reporting of the companies’ SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, S-4, Offering Memorandum, etc).  In addition, Jeff  was thoroughly involved and helped his clients through their internal control reporting transition under Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. 

Jeff’s clients include several real estate developers, property management organizations and not-for-profit corporations located across the United States.   

In 2008, Jeff was promoted to Principal at DOZ.

Heather Perry , CPA

Experience Highlights
Heather has specialized in the real estate industry since joining Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC in January 1998.  During that time she has been responsible for performing and managing the execution of all phases of the audits of partnerships, limited liability companies, equity funds, and non-profit organizations that are owned by real estate developments.  The primary users of the financials statements generated by Heather have included the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Rural Economic and Community Development (RD), various state agencies, partners and shareholders.  She has prepared numerous Certificates of Actual Costs for both the contractor and mortgagor as required by HUD.  In addition, she has also supervised and performed various agreed upon procedures, 10% carryovers and final cost certifications for Section 42 tax credit entities.

 Heather’s clients include not-for-profit corporations, real estate developers, housing corporations, and property management organizations located across the United States. 

In 2008, Heather was promoted to Principal at DOZ.
