Ryan is an audit manager of Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC and has been specializing in the real estate industry since 2005. He has relative experience in the affordable housing arena with focuses on properties that utilize Low Income Housing Tax Credits pursuant to Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for financing and/or rental assistance, and Rural Economic and Community Development programs. Ryan’s clients include not-for-profit corporations, real estate developers, real estate limited partnerships, tax credit syndicators, and property management organizations, among others.
Since joining this firm, Ryan has prepared and reviewed numerous audits of limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships and not-for-profit entities owning various real estate developments. These audits have been prepared for HUD, Rural Economic and Community Development and various debt and equity providers. He has also prepared and reviewed cost certifications and qualified contract pricing applications required by various state housing finance agencies in connection with Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Section 1602 Exchange Program Awards.
Ryan stays current with the real estate industry and the continually changing regulatory environment by attending continuing education classes and conferences on an ongoing basis. These classes and conferences address the most current issues, including HUD audit guidelines, Government Auditing Standards, OMB Circular A-133, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
