Experience Highlights
Tanya has worked in public and private accounting since 1994, and has been with Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC since 2006. Prior to joining Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, she was Director of Tax Compliance and Vice President with Citibank West. She has prior public tax accounting experience with Ernst & Young LLC, and auditing experience with a regional CPA firm.
Tanya’s duties include review of pass-through and corporate tax returns, tax research and consulting, and individual tax planning. She is responsible for ensuring that accurate returns are prepared, in-line with investor projections, and that all compliance deadlines are met. She oversees staff in the assurance that financial statement data is accurately reported in the tax returns. Tanya manages over 450 tax return engagements each year. These engagements include Section 42 credits, real estate ventures and development, corporate consolidated and individual returns.
Tanya is experienced in the preparation and analysis of tax-exempt bond arbitrage compliance engagements. She has also managed Internal Revenue Service audits of tax-exempt bond issuances.
In 2011, Tanya was promoted to Tax Principal.
